<ol>
<li class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Mix all of your dry ingredients in your mixer on low to blend together. Stop and stir a few times to ensure it&#8217;s mixed well.</li>
<li class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Add all wet ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix together well.</li>
<li class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Slowly add &#8220;wet bowl&#8221; into the mixer while on low speed.</li>
<li class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Mix well, stop and stir a few times and continue to mix on a med to low speed.</li>
<li class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">You can use this mix for muffins or a loaf.</li>
<li class="instruction" itemprop="recipeInstructions">Muffin cooking time:) 350 for 12-14 min depending on oven</li>

The first day I met Al I could tell his genuine interest in where I was physically and nutritionally. The first couple of sessions I had my doubts about staying with it but I was feeling better. Fast forward a couple months and it&#8217;s something I really look forward to going to, I like the hard work and I appreciate Al and Chris making sure I don&#8217;t over do it but also pushing me where they know it&#8217;s good  for me. They have a great program, the group of people in the class are so much fun and very entertaining. I have a long way to go to get myself back into shape but I can see slow and steady progress. You really do feel like a family and I thank Al for that.</p>

<h5><strong>For many people who are concerned about their health and wellness, it is not uncommon to hit a plateau when it working towards fitness goals.  If this has happened to you there is a way to blast through it.  It’s as simple as finding the balance between fitness and nutrition.  Fitness is what makes you healthy and strong.  Proper nutrition is what makes you healthy and lean (or what many like to refer to as “thin”). </strong></h5>
<h5><strong>When it comes to defining proper nutrition there are basic standards that most people can work from.  However, each individual has his/her own nutritional needs and the basic nutritional standards must be applied on an individual basis.  After all, we are all different.  Every person should make it their business to know what their personal nutritional needs.  Think about how many songs you know and sing along to daily.  How about those sports statistics that get tossed around about batting averages, yards run and free-throw points?  We spend so much time learning trivial things that are, in a sense, useless to us in life.  Now consider how much time we spend learning fundamental yet vital information that will help us live longer and healthier lives.</strong></h5>
<h5><strong>Many people don’t know the first thing about their personal nutritional needs or their “nutritional DNA.”  You need to stop and learn it; better yet, master it.  Balance is key in a well-rounded health and wellness program.  If you don’t know how to properly nourish your body, you can’t possibly be completely fit.  It’s time to take an interest in and make an investment in your health and in your future.  Not only for you, but for your loved ones too. </strong></h5>
<h5><strong>First thing first, you’ve got to be prepared.  Think of the 5 P’s :  Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance.  Go ahead and create your own account on <a href="http://myfitnesspal.com" target="_blank">MyFitnessPal.com</a>, friend me by adding my email to the invite section, and start logging what you eat (every little thing, every time!).  Together, we can get you on track to a properly balanced health and wellness program.</strong></h5>

<p>Brad Schoenfeld<span style="color: #000000;">  M.Sc., C.S.C.S </span></p>
<p>Brad is widely regarded as a &#8220;trainer of trainers.&#8221; He is a lecturer in the exercise science department at Lehman College in the Bronx, NY, and an adjunct professor in nutritional science at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. He was previously a faculty and board member at the American Academy of Personal Training in New York City, a vocational school for aspiring fitness trainers.</p>
<p>Brad earned his masters degree in kinesiology/exercise science from the University of Texas. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in exercise science at Rocky Mountain University where his research focuses on elucidating the mechanisms of muscle hypertrophy and their application to resistance training. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and serves as an associate editor for their peer-reviewed <em>Strength and Conditioning Journal</em>. He has achieved multiple certifications as a personal trainer, including the <span style="color: #0000ff;">NSCA</span>, the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and CanFitPro.<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;"> He was named the 2011 NSCA Personal Trainer of the Year</span></span>. In addition, he is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine as well as IDEA Health and Fitness Association, which has bestowed upon him the title of Master Trainer &#8211; the highest ranking possible.</p>

like I was being judged because my fitness level was not like everyone else. I<br />
stumbled on Albany NY<br />
Fitness by mistake. I was impressed by the quickness in response that I<br />
received. Once I met with Alan and Chris I was also impressed with their<br />
positive attitude and willingness to work with me. Alan and Chris are both<br />
formally trained and that was important to me. I have been going to Albany NY<br />
Fitness for about one and a half years. I started out @ 3 days a week with one<br />
on one training. I am now doing one on one training 3 days a week and boot camp<br />
2-3 days a week. I am not only physically stronger but mentally stronger. I<br />
believe it is the encouragement I have received from Alan and Chris. I am<br />
healthier now than I have ever been in my life. My “bad” cholesterol is down my<br />
“good” cholesterol is up. I am doing things now that I never thought possible in<br />
the past. I would highly recommend Albany NY Fitness. Alan and Chris motivate<br />
you to believe in yourself, encourage you to do better and there is no judgment<br />
in the gym. They work with you and any limitations that you may have. I would<br />
